Clochnaben

John, Colin and I met at the golf club this morning and drove up to the quarry car park at the start of the walks to Clochnaben and Glen Dye, where Gary met up with us.

It stayed dry although it was a bit cooler than we thought it would be and fairly gusty at the top.

The elapsed time was three and a quarter hours - 15 minutes quicker than our last hike up there in 2010 - and it was almost exactly 6 miles there and back, with a total climb approaching 1,700 feet. Here's the route and the stats:
