We are now 5 for Sunday 24th June - Dave, Ken, Colin, Gordon and I - unless John, Malcolm or Andy are going to join us? Dave is on the usual flight home that evening, so, realistically, it's a morning walk again. It's the same weekend as the golf outing and the headbang so it's going to be a busy one!

Ken - do you have some ideas of where you might lead us this time? Reminder also to send the photos from the last walk to put on the blog.

The September trip to the Lake District is not all that far away now. I spotted this from Saturday's Times:

Moving on to October, we half promised ourselves a trip to the West Coast to coincide with the Ullapool Beer Festival. It's held at the Morefield Hotel (http://www.morefieldmotel.co.uk/) and will be on Thursday/Friday/Saturday 18/19/20th October this year. I've spoken to the hotel and they still have rooms available, but Saturday night is pretty busy as they have North Sea Gas (http://nsg.gplrank.info/) playing and a number of rooms are block booked for them.

If we're planning to do Ullapool, then I'd like to get organised soon, as Andy has provisionally bought me a ticket to go and see the Steve Miller Band in Glasgow on Sunday 21st October, subject to whether we were walking that day or not.
